Read poems, art, letters, and reflections expressing human experiences inside prison walls.
Could you deal with a situation?
- Try being in a situation that seems hopeless but... your forced not to Quit!
- Try facing 25 to Life, and your own wife don't really give a shit.
- Imagine flexing and floating around a prison, trying to find the right rythme to safely do a bid.
- Imagine Paternity papers delivered to ya cell, Saying little mark is really not your kid!
- Damn! When does the healing start and I feel some fucking Relief?
- When is enough enough? I'm missing coffe Cause my cellie is a thief!
- What do you do when your lawyer got you looked Caused she barely even tried.
- What do you do when you thought you could unscramble the puzzle, but the lady got you fried?
- There is really no such thing as reasonable doubt;
- Knee deep in, is the only way OUT!
- Could you deal with a situation, one where all Just simply seems Lost.
- I will defeat this situation, even if its my LIFE IT COSTS.
This is my Jericho
This is my Jericho, the walls surround me and there is no exit in sight, Most times are dark, feeling my way around, lost, craving the day I see day light. The natives are restless, so I get no rest or peace, My puzzled mind can't figure this thing out I'm missing a piece. I cry, who hears me? Who gives it a second thought? This was a huge price to pay; I never realized what was being bought. How can I be freed, what does it take to shake and break solid walls? I'm dialing for help, no one hears, none, nope not one of my frantic phone calls. What options do I have? Where will the moment of clarity or better yet opportunity for some form of prosperity be revealed? I'm in pain, scarred, scratched, battered and bruised, I need to be healed. So I shout. I SHOUT! I SHOOOOOUUUUTTTTT. I say with him there is nothing too strong, they may try to give me life, but what is my life to him? A day, an hour, a minute, no more like a second, not very long. So I shout, I shout knowing that the vibration of my elated voice will at the very least bring attention to my situation, He tells me relax my son, you have a secure reservation. So I shout, I use the internal conviction of one who can't be convicted based on anything short of truth, these devil's lie all the time, throw all kinds of stones, at my house which is shatter proof. This is my Jericho, a prism of prison, I am shielded by he who is risen. This is my Jericho, my Jericho, a not so unfamiliar location, However, just like the walls in Jericho, this won't be my final destination.

No matter how regretful
No matter how regretful or remorseful we are, we can not change our past, but our determination can determine how far we go today, towards change …!

Who would have thought that a woman
I decided to lend a helping hand with her character's reconstruction, would conspire against me in playing a pivotal role to seeing that my life meets its imminent destruction. I extended love and respect to a slimy, selfish, deceitful cold hearted snake, Who has been able to lie on me, make things up about me, and ruin my life no matter what steps she has to take. By your side as you battled from hells grip and returned from the dirt, Sacrificing my own life, do you have any clue how much that hurt? Our whole relationship was a grand ole set up; I was the naive unsuspecting Vic. My question for you lady is, why was I the one you had to pick? So now what? You just get to live life, while I sit in a cage and wither away, Now all of a sudden I get no answer, now you to me have nothing to say? Its funny how hard you can be down for me one minute and then BOOoooM out of nowhere decide to completely switch, I was warned about you and should have known better, Karma girl you truly showed me, you really are a bitch.

Dead To The World
When the door clicks shut and all the memories of your existence gets erased, You watch your so called peeps forget who you are along with the problems that together you both may have faced. Your money runs short and some days you can't even afford to purchase a simple meal, You baby mother says your stupid mark you blew trial, your dumb ass should have taken the plea deal. Kids growing up way too fast, your oldest daughter knocked up with her second seed, Your son has made it to seventh grade, the sad part is that he can barely write or read. The pictures that you're showing are of big cars and jewelry that your broke ass no longer got, Right hand man testified against you, he did his best to bury you and watch you rot....
