For the Moment

African American man in orange uniform leans hands on prison cell bars and kneads neck. Depressed prisoner serves imprisonment term in jail. Murderer in correctional facility or detention center.

I have fallen down yet again but I seem to always crawl back to my feet, I may veer off the path of righteousness to regroup myself but never to retreat. I have been in quite a few tragic matches, still some how my match I have been fortunate not to meet.

You have tried to put me down oppress me, or deflect my point of view, You did all within your power to prevent me, hold me back, to block my path thru. You deny the role you played but the math always adds up, when you subtract or multiple the variables are always still true.

They may all be against me, plotting and using all distorted truths or simply put a lie. These things cause me to be emotional, sad, angry, confused as to whether to yell or to cry. Just know it’s only for a moment, life is short, unkind and painful but we all eventually die.
