What if I Was Born White?

Afro-american prisoner in cell looking at jail guard with baton, harassment

I wonder if I was born to white parents would my daddy have loved me enough to raise me from birth and give me his last name, If I got in trouble in school would my teachers find one of my black friends in which to blame? Could I lose the tough guy act and embrace just being simple and plain, Would I get hired for that dream job since me and my interviewer looked the same? What if I was born white?

Christmas at my house was always great because Santa always wanted to bless us little white kids, And babies from our race never suffer from bouts of sickle cell or SIDS. No way in hell would my white government let more than a quarter of my white brothers and sisters be doing a jail bid, As a white man when I slipped up and made a mistake it was as if I never did. What if I was born white?

If I was born another color would it be like being born with out flaws or any sin, Would every single game I decided to play in life I automatically get to win? I bet I would have spent the last fifteen years in med school to be a doctor if I was born with pearly white skin, Instead of studying how not to get raped up in the hills of a Pennsylvania prison. What if I was born white?

I know if I had a court case as a white guy my lawyer would look at all the evidence and actually want to fight, And I would never have to worry about being pulled over on the highway for driving while black at night. Guaranteed someone in my family and the judge or prosecutor on my case went to school together, so yeah they are kind of tight, Probation for him Jim, You know what Bob I think your right. What if I was born white?

Being the forty-fourth white president I would get to fill my cabinet with real live members of my favorite supporters the Klu Klux Klan,
